Water over a bridge?
A channel-bridge over the River Elbe and joins the former East and West Germany, as part of the unification project was recently completed. Really a marvel of engineering.

Evite.com let’s you plan your event, design/send your invitations, and let’s you monitor RSVP’s. Having went to a few weddings in my life, I can’t help but love this idea. It’d be much easier to send RSVP’s if I just had to click a link in my email software confirming that I am coming. This would also be great for the host, since they can accurately keep up with who is coming without ever picking up a pen. You can even send thank you notes back. Even though I’m sure some would consider it bad form, I’m almost sure I’ll be receiving more and more of these as the internet becomes more and more a part of our daily lives. Do you think this is the new way to plan an event? Has anyone ever gotten an invitation to a formal event through email?
I’m posting this from a Firefox extension I found called Performancing. It allows you to browse the web with the top half of your browser screen, and post a blog from the bottom half. So if your surfing the internet and see something worth posting, you can click the button, bring up the interface and make a post. It was easy to setup with wordpress and detected everything automatically. I just had to put in my account information and started this post. If you use Firefox and have a blog (or two), you might want to check this extension out.
